West Coast Kix continues with their monthly art showcase this Friday with yet another Last Friday Art Show! Last month’s showcase, featuring Hamilton Glass, aka HAM, was a big success, and this month they’ll be following it up in fine style with works by three different local photographers. Douglas Philip Jocham is a young straight edge photographer who brought a little bit of buzz to the lower Fan area last year with his enigmatic North Lombardy tumblr. He’s moved on from that now-defunct tumblr due to his relocation to Northern Virginia (boo!), but he’s still taking great shots of street scenes, skateboarders, and other cool stuff.

Joseph Lee Jones Jr.

Joseph Lee Jones Jr., proprietor of Captured By One Images, brings us images of what he sees around him on a day to day basis, with an emphasis on locations and people. Shannon Santiago takes a lot of nature photos, but has also extensively photographed the recent outbreak of street art in RVA. With all of them exhibiting in the same place at the same time, you can expect to see a wide variety of memorable images. So come out and support local artists and the local businesses that give them display space!
