Blind Whino X Art Whino in its mission to bring all the cross sections of the Low Brow world is pleased to announce DISTRICT WALLS.

With over 146 murals implemented in the last 9 years and with ongoing success of the Richmond Mural project, Art Whino will be using the power of the mural once again with its focus this time on the Nations Capitol.

Washington DC has gone through an amazing renaissance in the last five years and this project’s mission is to add another dimension to the city with this year them of bringing World Renowned abstract muralists. These abstract styles have roots in fine art, graffiti, street art, and abstract geometry meshes them together into some of the most striking murals in the forefront of the mural world.

Art Whino will be curating 10 world renowned abstract muralists who will be painting murals through Washington, DC. Numerous local artists will assist these muralists, allowing for an exchange of artistic knowledge. Blind Whino will hold a special free mural workshop for the public, taught by the local artists. REVIEW | Ducking Awesome! WitchDuck Is Smart, Sharp, and Ruthless

I am rarely speechless, especially about theatre. Since I don’t get paid if I remain silent, I will make myself criticize a play I don’t feel I have any right to judge. Gotta pay the rent, and all that. I came into this performance of WitchDuck by Cadence and...

After Strong Turnout, Richmond Arts Park Enters Holding Pattern

Under the Manchester Bridge, what had been an idea for years turned into something tangible, at least for a day. Hundreds of people moved through the space as muralists painted, DJs played, and passersby stopped mid-bike ride or walk to figure out what was going on....
