SATURDAY: Noah Scalin Book Release Party At Chop Suey!

by | Nov 30, 2011 | ART

Join local author Noah Scalin this Saturday at 5 PM at Chop Suey Books to celebrate the release of his latest book, Unstuck: 52 Ways to Get (and Keep) Your Creativity Flowing at Home, at Work & in Your Studio, through Voyageur Press. Unstuck is a handy guide to preventing lapses in creativity and inspiration, featuring 52 different projects arranged in order of the time commitment they require, from 30 seconds to several hours. Readers who do one project a week can gain an entire year of creativity building, or you can take more of an as-needed approach to the volume, just grabbing it whenever motivation lags and using whatever project catches your eye as a way to get the creative juices flowing. The book also includes 12 profiles of other artists, who explain the different ways that they stay inspired and productive, and features blank journal pages suitable for notes, sketches, and whatever else you might need to jot down. This book is a valuable resource that’s essential for artists and makes an excellent Christmas gift for anyone who makes creativity a part of their daily life (or just wants to), so head down to Chop Suey this Saturday to meet the author and get yourself a copy!
