Richmond has its own way of ringing in the New Year. A little backward glance, a little chaos, and just enough polish to feel intentional. You can lean into loud live shows, dress up for something splashy, or keep it simple with a solid drink and good company. However you want to do it, RVA has options that feel very Richmond. Here’s how to close out 2025 without forcing the moment.

  • Get Tight Lounge: NYE 1973
    Get Tight is skipping ahead and backward at the same time, landing squarely in 1973 for New Year’s Eve. Expect a lovingly unhinged tribute lineup pulling from The Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Merle Haggard, The Kinks, Steely Dan, and Herbie Hancock, with DJ Hip Hop Henry on the 1s and 2s keeping things loose between sets.

    Celler Dwellers return for their annual New Year’s Eve show with support from Bucko and Backup Kid. A stacked local bill and a solid way to close out 2025.

  • Fuzzy Cactus: All Vinyl Disco
    New Year’s Eve at Fuzzy Cactus is coming up fast. Ben Speed and DJ Devolved are taking control with an all-vinyl trip that runs deep into the night. Tickets are $20 and include a buffet, a champagne toast at midnight, and nonstop dance music. This one has sold out three years in a row, so don’t wait

  • Bingo Beer Co.: NYE Black & White Masquerade Ball
    Ring in the New Year with a black-and-white masquerade party at Bingo Beer Co.     Party Liberation Foundation hosts its annual New Year’s Eve fundraiser at Homegrown VA. Expect a full immersive night with DJs, fire spinning, aerial acts, large-scale art, fire sculptures, and libations throughout the space.

  • Ember Music Hall: Y2K NYE Bash
    Ember Music Hall hosts a Y2K-themed New Year’s Eve party with nonstop hits from the late 90s and early 2000s. Expect a throwback dance party soundtracked by Polo Brown, a live midnight ball drop on the LED screen, neon-soaked visuals, and VIP bottle service options.
