The extravaganza continues! Brews & Burlesque, the monthly event combining high quality craft beer from Strangeways Brewing with the delightful, scantily-clad antics of Those Freaking Weirdos, is back with a special Valentine’s Day edition! The recurring event’s location on the second Friday of each month happens to line up perfectly with the traditional holiday dedicated to love, and Those Freaking Weirdos will be pulling out all the stops to make this a very special Valentine’s Day for all their dedicated fans!

Lea Loveless

In addition to the usual performances from TFW’s main cast members, Melody Magpie, Moxie LaBouche, Dante The Inferno, and Dev L. Ish, this event will feature guest star Lea Loveless as this month’s Nudie Newbie. Also on hand will be Jen Coffin, whom we are assured has a surprise planned for all the local burlesque devotees–“a type of burlesque never before seen in RVA (or possibly anywhere!)” We’re not sure what that could mean, but it’s certainly worth showing up in order to find out! Finally, Paris Creperie will be on hand serving up their amazing savory and sweet crepes. You don’t want to miss this tasty treat!

With limited space available inside Strangeways Brewing, you definitely want to order tickets in advance. The word from TFW’s Moxie LaBouche is that this event is “becoming a hot ticket,” and with only 75 advance seats available, you are well advised to order as soon as possible. If you miss out on the advance tickets, 25 more will be available at the door on the evening of the event, but get there early, because once they’re gone, they’re gone forever!
