From Richmond, to Williamsburg, to Charlottesville to Roanoke, Virginia is nearly bursting at the seams with craft breweries each of them offering something different and unique. There are nearly 150 breweries in Virginia with 40 of them opening just last year.

Craft beer has brought $623 million a year to the state and has created almost 8,000 jobs according to the Roanoker.

But which breweries stands out above the rest in Virginia? There are so many great ones in the state it’s hard to pick, but luckily we don’t have to, The Culture Trip recently published a list of the top 10 craft breweries in Virginia. And some of Richmond’s fine breweries made the list!

Legend Brewing, Lickinghole Creek in Goochland and Hardywood Park Craft Brewery all made the list.

Also on the list were Devils Backbone Brewing in Roseland, Blue Mountain Brewery in Afton, Starr Hill Brewery in Charlottesville, Lost Rhino Brewing Company in Ashburn, Apocalypse Alewerks in Forest, Wolf Hills Brewing Company in Abingdon and Port City Brewing Company in Alexandria.
