Local Hip Hop: Rasul the Knowbody

by | Nov 28, 2009 | MUSIC

Local post Rasul the Knowbody smoked everybody on Saturday night with a stream-of-consciousness rhyme. He had everyone nodding their heads and by the end of the night, we was romping to his version of the “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” theme song. Check out the video to his track “Stand Up (the Hexagon)” and if you get a chance to catch him out, don’t pass it up. More info can be found at www.myspace.com/rasultheknowbody

I created Richmond, Virginia’s culture publication RVA Magazine and brought the first Richmond Mural Project to town. Designed the first brand for the Richmond’s First Fridays Artwalk and promoted the citywide “RVA” brand before the city adopted it as the official moniker. I threw a bunch of parties. Printed a lot of magazines. Met so many fantastic people in the process. Professional work: www.majormajor.me
