The Ned Flanders-themed metal band Okilly Dokilly will play RVA in the Spring

People really love The Simpsons – whether its vapor-wave Bart or, in the case of this metal band, Ned Flanders.

Coming out of Phoenix, Arizona, Okilly Dokilly is an interesting mix of novelty and actual metal. They appear to have dropped their first EP back in August 2015 but they’ve since released the incredibly consistent full length Howdilly Doodilly. Check out the first video for “White Wine Spritzer” below:

In case you were curious, they just keep repeating the line “You only live once/
Ah hell, give me a white wine spritzer” which is a real life Flanders’ line –

They’ll be opening for two other weird metal acts. Mac Sabbath, a Mcdonald’s themed Black Sabbath tribute project (seen below) and Metalachi, a metal mariachi band.
