You Blew It! keep doing what they’re doing at Strange Matter Feb. 24 (Ticket Giveaway!)

It appears Florida emo band You Blew It! are not content to rest on their laurels. Less than a year after releasing their much-loved second album, Keep Doing What You’re Doing, they’ve followed it up with a brand new EP on Jade Tree, Pioneer Of Nothing.

It appears Florida emo band You Blew It! are not content to rest on their laurels. Less than a year after releasing their much-loved second album, Keep Doing What You’re Doing, they’ve followed it up with a brand new EP on Jade Tree, Pioneer Of Nothing. The new EP’s three songs show a quieter, more contemplative side to the typically energetic quintet, but they always lead with their emotions and their excellent intertwining guitar melodies. RVA fans are sure to dig this new EP just as much as the last album–even if there isn’t a song about how great Richmond is on this one. New tune “Bedside Manor” shows that these dudes still have the touch–check it out below:

You Blew It! were last in Richmond only a few short months ago, when they played with Citizen and Hostage Calm at The Broadberry in October. But they’re already back on the road again, this time with a headlining tour featuring support from Minnesota twinkle kingpins Tiny Moving Parts and West Virginia power-poppers Rozwell Kid (who you may remember from their own energetic Broadberry set opening for The World Is A Beautiful Place And I Am No Longer Afraid To Die back in October). They’ll be hitting Strange Matter on Tuesday, February 24 for a special all-ages matinee extravaganza, featuring local support from pre-eminent RVA melodic punk rockers Sundials. If you’re not there… well, do I even have to say it?
