In The Heat Of The Night Vol. 2: The Summer Sizzler

by | Jun 13, 2023 | EAT DRINK, FASHION, PHOTOGRAPHY, RICHMOND NEWS, SMALL BUSINESS, STREETWEAR & SNEAKERS

Listen up, night owls! We’ve got something sizzling for you, and it’s not just the summer air. Introducing a brand new series, concocted in partnership with the crafty brewmasters at Bingo! Beer Co. Our tireless team will be prowling the electric streets of the city every weekend, tapping into the nightlife vein that throbs past 10 pm, and peering into the vibrant undercurrents that ripple through the nights.

This past weekend was the first where the sizzle of summer was tangible, and Richmond was practically aflame with action. If you were cooped up at home, we can only say: your loss, pal. The city was pulsing, and our nightcrawler, CJ Payne, ventured into the heart of it. He dropped by the always buzzing Helen’s, indulged in the delightful shenanigans at Sticky Rice, and got a taste of the city’s freshest scene at Emerald Lounge in Church Hill. The party went wild at New York Deli, and he was bewitched by the dazzling drag show at Babe’s. And, of course, he made a pit stop to clink glasses with our comrades at Bingo! Beer Co.

Are you itching for us to waltz into your haunt, shindig, clandestine meet-up, or maybe you’ve got a keen eye and fancy taking the camera reins? Give us a shout at hello@rvamag.com.
