Carytown Cupcakes drops Star Wars-themed desserts ahead of new movie’s release

2015 will be remembered for a number of things, but few iconic moments will stand out as much as the upcoming release of the new Star Wars film: the Force Unleashed.

Not to be outdone, and all too familiar with movie themed cupcakes, Carytown Cupcakes is set to drop a series of Star Wars themed desserts with the likes of everyone from Darth Vador to Chewie represented in hand-sized cupcake versions.

Grab your light saber and hop into your land speeder– Carytown Cupcakes is transforming into the enigmatic world of Star Wars. Stand underneath a squadron of Thai fighters, take a picture next to Hans Solo frozen in carbonite and mingle with R2D2 and other characters from the Star Wars series. Pick up one of our themed cupcakes, including: the Wookie Cookie,Darth Vader, Stormtrooper Sandie, Imperial Stout, “Thai” Coffee Fighter, and Princess Leia. Make sure to find out if you’re destined for the light side or the dark side!

Friday, December 18th – we will have a 21 and over trivia night. Test your knowledge on the force and the battle between the rebels and the Empire. There will be 3 rounds of trivia and plenty of prizes. Sign ups will start at 4:30 pm outside the shop.

Sunday, December 20th & 27th – we will have the Richmond Cello Orchestra perform iconic scores from the Star Wars movie series. Sit back and listen to the magical music that first made you fall in love with Star Wars.

Monday, December 21st – One Eyed Jacques will host an X Wing Miniatures Board Game night. Learn how to control a fleet of ships and lead them to victory! Ship models and game pieces will be provided.
