Just in time for the Holidays, someone is snagging packages off of peoples porches in Randolph. If you live in the area, keep your stuff safe, and if you recognize the man in the image above, hit up RPD at the number below:

Richmond Police detectives need the public’s help to identify the man in the video still and video (video sent separately) who is suspected of stealing packages from porches.

On December 2, the suspect was captured on home security video taking packages from a porch in the lower Randolph area of the city. He is described as a black male wearing dark pants, a dark jacket and a black hat. The video shows him leaving the area on a bike and carrying a large blue duffel bag with red stripes.

Detectives ask anyone with any information about this person to call Third Precinct Detective Eric Sandlin at (804) 646-1010 or call Crime Stoppers at 780-1000 or text Crime Stoppers at 274637, using the key word “ITip” followed by your tip. Both Crime Stoppers methods are anonymous.
