Mechanicsville Woman/Ted Cruz Supporter Says Obama Ruined Christmas, Muslims Ruined Country

by | Dec 29, 2015 | RICHMOND POLITICS

Ted Cruz rolled through Mechanicsville last Friday and managed to wow a few county folks before asking them for money – and among them was Tom and Nancy who think Obama ruined Christmas and the Muslims are ruining our country.

The folks at CSPAN were on the scene to capture the voices of voters (or possible voters) and in an incredible, baseless rant, Nancy manages to completely embarrass herself.

“We need to take our country back!” she shouts, in between heavy breaths, mimicking GOP candidates like a Monk Parakeet. “We don’t need a president like Obama no more. He’s ruined our country, he’s ruined Christmas. He let the Muslims in… he scared the lil’ children. They’re not allowed to have Santa Clause in the schools where, yea know, it might offend the Muslims. What about them offending us? It works both ways.”

We don’t usually get some tumblr-y on here, but holy shit woman, check your privilege.

And while analysts are starting to think Trump’s chances of winning are sliding because his base doesn’t know how to vote in a primary, Nancy and Tom are guaranteed to show up Tuesday, March 1, 2016, and support Cruz who is more McCarthy-like than we should probably be okay with.
