RVA Beard League raises over $15K for charity, delivers on super hero-themed beards

With great facial hair comes great responsibility, or so the folks at RVA Beard League believe.


With great facial hair comes great responsibility, or so the folks at RVA Beard League believe.

The 5th annual Mid-Atlantic Beard & ‘Stache Championships happened a few weeks back and the group managed to raise a hefty chunk of change ($15,165 for the Richmond Fisher House Foundation) as well as offer a platform for some creative follicle-formations. This year’s theme was “Super Heroes” and sure enough there were cameos from villains, crazy ‘staches, cute lil babies, Duff man, The joker, and even that guy from Super Troopers… Meow.
