Donald Trump’s relationship with Virginia visualized

​President Donald Trump has had a complex history with Virginia… Over the years, he ​has ​made campaign contributions to Virginia politicians, including Democratic Gov. Terry McAuliffe, and bought a golf course and vineyard in the state.

But Virginia voters favored Hillary Clinton over Trump in last fall’s presidential election, and Virginia sued Trump over his travel ban affecting several Muslim countries.​
