WWE returned to Richmond last night at the Coliseum for a taping of Monday Night RAW, live on the USA Network in one of the most note-worthy shows of the year for reasons both great and alarming.
I love the Black Keys, but I fully did not expect to go to this show. Knowing that it was at the Coliseum, I figured it wouldn’t be as intimate a show as it may have been at the National. However, when I was gifted tickets, there was no deterring me from going, regardless of the fact that I would be sitting in the farthest possible section from the stage.
WWE returned to Richmond this past Monday with an eventful evening of Monday Night Raw. If you were there, you know you caught a truly memorable night of squared circles antics. If not, well… you should regret missing it. RVA Magazine writer Doug Nunnally and 8 News reporter Tim Wronka were on hand to take in the full spectacle that is World Wrestling Entertainment.

It’s called the “asters of Ceremony – Hip Hop Reunion” tour and it’s featuring a mess of in/famous rap stars from the genre’s earliest days.
It was supposed to be a big night for Red Rum. The RVA rapper, who has been signed to DJ Khaled’s We The Best Music Group since 2009 (if this video is any indication), scored an opening slot for the finally-free Louisiana rapper Lil Boosie at the Richmond Coliseum last night. But the triumph was soured by the way it ended–as Red Rum exited the stage, he was arrested.
