Indie darlings and emo-front runners Taking Back Sunday are going on tour this Fall, and they’re stopping in RVA on 9/17 at the National.
It’s been a rocky number of years for the Long Island, NY, natives – with band members bailing and breaks from actual album releases, but their classic tracks dating back over 15 years still hang heavy in many hearts young and old.
Fresh off the buzz of their 2014 album Happiness Is, which Revolver’s Jonah Bayer said proved “that you can be emotional without relying on emo clichés—even if you helped popularize them,” Taking Back Sunday is ready to hit the US on their upcoming tour.
