In the Heat of the Night Vol. 11: Summer Lovin’

by | Aug 17, 2023 | MUSIC, NIGHTLIFE, PHOTOGRAPHY, QUEER RVA, STREETWEAR & SNEAKERS

In the city, partying isn’t the only thing heating up the summer nights. Love and friendship is in the air.

Enter Jody Adams, our relentless photographer, who’s been out there documenting everything he sees, from the booming horns of NO BS! Brass at The Broadberry‘s Jam Packed After Party to the captivating glances and fleeting connections happening nightly at Get Tight Lounge. The night unfolds with the over the top table-top sing-a-longs at Sticky Rice, and an early evening shoot at The Jungle Room. Naturally, a stop by Bingo! Beer Co. was essential, where the energy was as bubbly as their renowned brews.

Feeling inspired to capture the rhythm of Richmond after dark? Reach out at hello@rvamag.com. We’re perpetually on the prowl for new visionaries who can encapsulate our city’s nocturnal essence.

Let’s raise a glass to good folks at Bingo! Beer Co., for they’ve been an essential part of this ongoing documentation of Richmond at night. And as for their lager? It’s delightfully smooth.
