Photos from the Faye Webster, Julie and Benét Show on Brown’s Island

Faye Webster brought her alt-indie vibes to Brown’s Island a few weeks back, turning the riverside into a party for the night. She didn’t come alone. Webster rolled into town with julie, a grunge/shoegaze outfit that drips with ‘90s nostalgia, and Benét, a homegrown singer-songwriter.

The night was a feast for music fans, with local photographer Aspen DeRosa snapping shots that perfectly captured the sweat, swagger, and sound.

And for those that don’t know — Faye Webster, an Atlanta-born singer-songwriter, has made a name for herself with her unique blend of indie and alternative music. Starting her career early, she self-released her debut album Run and Tell at 16. After briefly attending Belmont University, she returned to Atlanta, signed with Awful Records, and released her self-titled album in 2017. Webster gained further recognition with Atlanta Millionaires Club in 2019, followed by the critically acclaimed I Know I’m Funny Haha in 2021.

Fast forward to 2024, and her latest, Underdressed at the Symphony, has her touring the globe, hitting major festivals, and proving she’s here to stay.
