by | May 2, 2017 | WTF?!

They might be store chains that exist in pretty much any town throughout America, but the experiences we have in each one can be unique. It seems Wal-Mart and Food Lion were the prime locations for chance encounters in the Richmond area this week. Read on to see what flings or romance may blossom from this week’s roundup of Missed Connections.

Food Lion…Forest Hill ave. – m4w

Hey there…………

We just caught eye contact a few times perusing the store. Minutes ago about 8 pm Saturday evening. You have short reddish-brown shaved hair in the back, and wore a black sundress. You look amazing, and I would like to tell you that in person since I didn’t get the chance tonight

Walmart Parking Lot – m4m (Petersburg)

Saw you sitting in your beige pick-up. Blue shirt to match your eyes. You had your head down looking at your phone. I was in the SUV next to you. If you ever want to meet, I would be more than willing to do so! If this is you, tell me what color vehicle I was driving.

I met you on a dating app, you were a very cute open CD we talked for a bit you asked for a pic so I sent you one. I deleted the app later on in the day, but I went to a Walmart looking for something the next day, I’m pretty sure you were the same person I asked for help, you called me sir and tried getting my attention a second time but I was in a rush. when I went to check out you were at the front of the store as well I’m pretty sure we made eye contact then as well.

Star wars – m4w (Ashland)

We were in the same store. You bought some shirts, including a star wars shirt and I mentioned an event, and costumes. I hope I see you there. In fact, I hope to get to know you better, perhaps get together sometime if you’re interested. In the unlikely event that you read this and don’t seem it best to ignore it, let me know what else you bought when you reply. Or talk to me at the event I mentioned if you happen to be there. I don’t bite. Well, not hard, anyway.

Review | Get In My Boca! What’s Happening at the Triangle?

Every time I go to the Aldi on Arthur Ashe at Broad St., En Su Boca tries to seduce me with its tequila and tacos perfume. It doesn’t work all the time, but I feel the pull when I’m browsing the nonsense in Aldi’s middle aisle. I once bought sweatpants there. I’m not...
