BBOUNCE 037 James Gyre “For Heads to Nod”

*TO DOWNLOAD mix save on this link: “NOD”

This new mix from James Gyre is mixed entirely on ableton – a new territory for him in mixing. James always has such a great variety of music and always brings a great deal of worldly music to his mixes. So I was excited to be able to hear where he was going to go with using new technology and new ways of layering music in mixing. This mix definitely lives up to the name, as my head was nodding most all the time. I love how deep this mix goes with layering of rap on top of glitch with synth vibes moving throughout – and some unique producers are represented here. So I hope you will enjoy this mix as much as I do – (I have been listening to it while working – on 2nd listen now). I love that James always brings new sounds with old school vibes and throwbacks … now nod your head!
