Best of missed connections 1/31-2/5

by | Feb 5, 2015 | POLITICS

February has arrived and we’re only a few weeks from Valentines Day – are you ready to spend the holiday alone? Crying into a bottle of wine and a half empty pizza box, cursing the name of your ex for leaving you just in time to miss chocolates and flowers?

No? We didn’t think so, so check out the missed connections below and maybe you’ll be one of the lucky ones with a lover just waiting for you to hit that “reply” button.

locker room tonight – m4m (downtown gym)

A few Sundays ago, around 5-ish. You were standing at the sink washing your hands and I had just walked out of the steam room. I saw your eyes immediately fixated on me and checking me (and what was under my towel) out in the mirror. I am very discreet, and there are slim pickings of the guys that go there, so I must admit it was hot to see you discreetly display your attraction for me as well!

I am a tall good looking guy in my twenties, and you are a cute guy yourself. Looked to also be in your twenties and possibly Latin. When I was walking to my locker, you were standing at yours and our eyes locked again…this time for a long time and you gave me a subtle smile. Would love to meet you personally and get to know you better.

Tell me what color your shirt was and what color your pants were and what area your locker was in, so I know its really you when you respond. Hope to hear from you soon!

Not really a missed connection…..in fact, we connected a lot, but then you disappeared. We used to date at my work place early in the mornings. I wonder where you are? Hmu if you see this! To make sure it’s really you……please tell me what the very unusual item was in the back seat of my car. From that point on you used to call me by its name! What was it?

You’re gorgeous with your long blonde hair, fashionable dress and a smile (which you didn’t display enough!) which lights a room! We made eye contact a few times, and I did see enough of your smile to want to make you smile more…You sat at the end of the bar next to the wall…How ’bout coffee or lunch, my treat? We’re only an E-mail away from meeting again…Cheers!

Woman in Pats Jersey at Circle K – m4w (Midlo near 288)

I walked in circle K and you were in line wearing a Patriots Jersey and spandex shorts….You looked GREAT! It was just after 11pm. I made a comment about you being happy and you smiled then left. I went to get a beer and when I got in line, you came back in to get something else. I let you in front of me but didn’t say anything. I wish I had. If you remember me and want to talk, tell me what I was wearing or what I said to you….I can hope!

Buttermilk Trail Runner with Blue Socks! – w4m (Buttermilk Trail/North Bank Trail)
body : athletic

To the glowing trail runner wearing bright blue compression socks, a manicured beard, beautiful smile, and friendly disposition on the James River trails this morning…I was hiking with a friend and her dog but I easily could have run after you all day! We saw you twice, once on each bank, going in opposite directions.

You had great vibes and your smile lit up the forest even for the partly sunny day. Thanks for being out there…happy trails, until we meet again…

Aussie/Kiwi At Nora Taste Of Lebanon – m4w – 24 (richmond)
age : 24 body : average height : 5’7″ (170cm) status : single

My friend and I came by for dinner last night and as soon as I walked in our eyes met in gaze. You were tall, beautiful, graceful and with a gorgeous smile.

You came by to clear our table before we went upstairs and we spoke for a second but I didn’t get to introduce myself or tell you how beautiful I think you are.

We left and came back to sort our bill because of an error and then your accent came out….I think my heart skipped a beat.

I’d love to take you out for coffee. Like you, I don’t drink or smoke but that won’t stop us from having fun.
