Here’s part 2 of our 2015 Reader’s poll. Check out the rest of the winners in part 1 here and part 3 here.

Favorite Local Hair Salon: Bombshell

Every woman loves to be pampered; whether it’s their trendy haircuts, waxing, air brush tans, or ‘vajazzling’ (yes that’s right, they do that) Bombshell’s pin-up girl culture won over the hearts of many Richmond women this year.

Favorite Local Men’s Store: Need Supply Co

In the beginning, this Carytown clothing store just started out selling vintage Levis, but now they have moved on up and pride themselves on selling men’s and women’s clothes from up and coming independent designers in the US and abroad.

Favorite Local Fresh Kicks Spot: Road Runner Running Store

This Carytown store is a one-stop when it comes to shoes for those who just like to run or dash through the trails of Richmond.

Favorite Local Barbershop: High Point Barbershop

Whether you’re looking for a classic cut, a sleek modern style, or a straight razor shave, this place topped the list. So guys, if you want to look smooth or just catch up on some good conversation, you’re bound to find either at High Point.

Favorite Local Head Shop: Kulture

Local heads rejoice! You voted and your favorite head shop, Kulture, was selected, man. With locations in the Fan, Midlothian, Charlottesville, Glen Allen, and downtown RVA, Kulture has built a name and brand for itself over the years selling pipes, bubblers, vaporizers, hookahs, and over 30 types of tobacco.

Favorite Local Market: Ellwood Thompson’s

With a commitment to providing healthy, local and organic food, Ellwood Thompson’s quickly became a Richmond favorite whether you’re a soccer mom or VCU student craving a kale shake. They also pride themselves on a hot bar with an ever-changing lineup of fruits, and vegetables. Check out their new Beat Cafe for even more fresh options.

Favorite Local Bicycle Shop: Carytown Bicycle Company

Since 2007, this company has built, sold and repaired bikes for the community. They also have you covered on water bottles, bike apparel and any other gears or gadgets you may need out there on the road or trail.

Favorite Local Moto/Scooter Shop: Scoot Richmond

From Triumph to Moto Guzzi Motorcycles to Vespas and Piaggios, Scoot Richmond is Central Virginia’s only full service motorscooter provider. OG Bikers of Richmond looking for something new, or bikers new to the area, check this Manchester hotspot out because it topped our list for a reason!

Favorite Local Craft Beer: Hardywood Gingerbread Stout

I don’t think this craft beer needs much of an introduction. Everyone who’s been in RVA for the months leading up to Christmas knows about the Gingerbread Stout and the madness that ensues once Hardywood announces it’s time for this seasonal brew to be released.

This imperial milk stout, brewed with local ginger and honey, won our contest by a landslide and continues to grow in popularity. It’s the perfect holiday gift for the craft beer lover in your life…or yourself.

Favorite Local Brewery: Hardwood Park Craft Brewery

Since 2011, when Hardywood burst onto the scene with the Hardywood Singel, the local brewers have paved the way for many other small breweries to set up shop here in Richmond. Now, 4 years later, Hardywood was named the top brewery by our readers and only continues to expand with events, different beers and an upcoming location in Goochland.
