Best of RVA Craigslist Missed Connections 6/9-6/16

by | Jun 17, 2014 | RICHMOND NEWS, WTF?!

As spring slips further and further away and summer’s heat takes hold, it’s obviously doing a number on RVA love birds – at least this week’s best-of-craigslist-missed-connections would suggest as much.

We had hot moms at the Children’s Museum, hot dads at the WaWa, and lot’s of lost love being thrust onto the internet in the hopes that it finds it’s way home.

God speed, you lonely, star-crossed craigslist lovers, and may our humble attempt to elevate the best posts we find be the key to your future success in love.

Eye contact at Panera – m4w (innsbrook) 6/16

Not much of a missed connection, but I just have to do it.
You were absolutely stunning. Adorable, curly, dirty blonde hair… big, beautiful eyes. An elegant looking white top, and dark skirt..
You were with an older gentleman, I assume (hope) a coworker, sitting across from me at a table.
I was eating alone, with a stale flat bread, and tomato soup in a bread bowl.
I apologize for looking at you so much, I just couldn’t keep my eyes off of you. I wanted to come say hi, but that would not have been appropriate. I couldn’t help but wonder what it is you do for a living.
Then I managed to spill my drink all over the place, like an asshole. It was kinda funny, but I felt like a dumbass.
Anyway, we made eye contact a few times, but it may just have been because I couldn’t help but try to take in as much of your beauty as I could before I had to go back to work.
But I would love to talk sometime, if you are interested.

You seem like you look forward to seeing me at night when I stop through. You have to know how bad I wanted to ask can I meet you at your house after work and rock you to sleep. I think you know that I want it. TerribLy bad and I hope you do too. If so slide me your # or your address and make that fantasy realized. That’s the spirit!

Cute Server at Brewer’s Ball – m4m – 32 (Richmond) 6/14

You were the cute server working the wine station at the Brewer’s Ball. You complimented me on my shoes.
Sorry I’m bad at flirting. I didn’t mean to open up with “my wife…” Yes, I’m married, but nothing about that prevents having a cute friend with benefits. After all, she sent me to your station for a reason 😉
Anyhow, if you get this, let me know which of your four drinks required a bit of bravery to try. Maybe I can join you for one sometime.

Guy at WaWa geting coffee near Courthouse Rd – m4m – 48 (Midlothian) 6/13

I saw you at the WaWa getting coffee this morning about 7:15 or so near Courthouse Rd. You were in
the next lane and rolled down your window to make a response to my dog, I said he was my buddy.
You were in a Red truck with wired2fish stickers in the rear window. You use to drive a white truck with some business logo on it. I see you there all the time, always look at you, but always look away in fear you might notice. I think you’re a very handsome man, love the salt and pepper hair, and would like to get to know you better. I would like to go fishing sometime, if you’d like to take me.

I’m 48, 6’1, short hair, moustache, single male. Live alone, but with pets. Would like to find a friend
maybe that could be you? I would like that. I hope you may somehow see this, if so please respond with how many dogs you said you have.

It’s a long shot, but I thought it’s worth a shot. Hoping to reach you, but if not I still have WaWa in the mornings to gaze at you.

children’s museum – m4w – 34 6/11

There were a few beautiful mother’s there today.
Two that really stood out.
You were both there around 4pm.
One was wearing a blue summer dress with her son and daughter. Before you got into your mini van we made eye contact and your smile melted my heart.
The other was wearing a beautiful white blouse and appeared pregnant. You played so well with your little girl.
You are both lovely ladies. I’m sure you’re both taken but if you’re interested in a little adventure let me know.
Hope to talk to you soon!!

Petsmart willow lawn Tuesday 8pm – m4w 6/10

You were the cool looking brunette with a pinkish top, Jean shorts belt and flip flops. You had a black dog and sunburned back. You had an amazing tall/athletic build. I really wanted to talk to you but I got tied up on phone call. I think it was cute that you were smelling dog shampoo 😉 Anyway. You are exactly my type and I’d like to hang out with you and your dog. I saw you getting into a jeep. I was the tall guy with a blue t shirt and shorts. Let’s hang out!

You said “nice guitar”… – m4w – 27 (Belle Isle) 6/10

To the girl who told me, “nice guitar” while I was walking to Belle Isle with my friend, I wanna apologize for not responding clearly enough. I said thank you but it was quiet and I doubt you heard me. Anyways, if for the slim chance you catch this post, thank you it made my day. Perhaps, we can jam together or meet up for coffee sometime : )

To the gorgeous woman walking near Forest and Skipwith around 1PM – m4w (Near HDH) 6/10

You were walking crossing Skipwith, and then Forest . You had on a bright yellow top and a black skirt . Your top was so bright it was hard to tell if your hair was reddish or brownish, or both. You looked absolutely fabulous, regardless.

Thank you for making my day. I was going the opposite direction, but I almost turned back to give you a ride because you looked a little lost. I decided I didn’t want you to think I was a stalker. I hope you got where you were going. Not sure how you ended up walking to wherever you were going instead of getting a ride. , maybe you just felt like exercising, but if you ever need a ride, hmu, NSA. seriously. You classed up the entire neighborhood.
