valentine necklace – m4w (furniture store) 8/3

You sold me a necklace just before Valentine’s day. I remember thinking at the time how little my girlfriend deserved it and how little it would be appreciated.

You seemed so pleasant and cheerful. I had the urge that day to turn around and offer it to you.

Six months later I regret not doing that…

Because I’ll go mad if I don’t say it somewhere – w4m – 38 (Midlothian) 8/2

I’m ashamed at the cliche of having a crush on a barista, but here I am. I thought my ability to feel anything was dead until I saw you. Your voice, the way your hair turns up slightly at the ends, like maybe you’re still deciding whether to cut it or let it grow out. I might be imagining your eyes are green when they are really hazel. I am trying not to be overt–you are working and are paid to be nice to me, and I won’t forget that. I will keep leaving stupidly large tips. I will try not to come in more than is normal.

So, even though I know you are being nice because you have to, I hold close your kindness. There aren’t many beautiful people who treat me well. Thank you. I may never know if you are happy and satisfied, but it is my most fervent hope that you are.

You are tall and beautiful. You drove a Lexus 300 and I could not take my eyes off you. I must say you did stand out. I told you that you were beautiful on my way out. Would like to know more about you. Please Respond back if you see this add. Thanks

I couldn’t help notice you when you came downstairs but I must say great pair! You seem very professional and I’m just horny looking for a casual hookup.

I really would love having some fun at your place with you.

If you want just tell me you like my shirt I’ll take the lead.

I kept seeing both of you at the river… – m4ww – 22 (Belle Isle) 7/29

I guess I’m just doing this for the hell of it, because I’m pretty sure that neither of you will read this, but I’m not in the business of giving a damn at the moment. One of you was blonde, and the other brunette. I don’t know which of you it was, but I was feeling some crazy strong energy. Anyway, that’s all I’ve got.

Starbucks Parking Lot – m4w – 25 (Chesterfield) 7/28

You and your friend got out of your car. Your dress was riding up. Your friend called you out and you jokingly lifted it up even more. I admit…I was watching. You had a nice ass and your friend was cute too. 😉

Review | ‘Confederates’ Doesn’t Let Anyone Off Easy

“Oh, I’m going to have a field day with this.” These were my exact words to friend and artist Kyle Epps as I got up from my seat at Firehouse Theatre Saturday night. As we shuffled out of the theatre into the lobby, I took inventory of the stack of insights Dominique...

What Happened Before the Video?

There are two sides to every story, but a lot of the time, the first narrative is the one that sticks. Case in point: last week, an altercation broke out during one of the weekly neighborhood rides organized by the Broad Street Bullies. The ride has happened every...

What the Hell is VITCO? We Went to Find Out.

Editor’s Note: This story was produced in partnership with Virginia Transit Company (VITCO). There are few large-ish pieces of real estate in the city proper that have been more screaming for development than the fallow field bordered by Clay Street and Hermitage...

Can Ellwood Thompson’s Survive Its Owners?

What is Ellwood Thompson’s now? That feels like a fair question most people should be asking right now after this week’s news that the company that owns one of Richmond’s most recognizable stores is being taken over by another company whose primary business is data...
