Looks like she’s down… and I think we all know that. So just consider Craigslist Missed connections the mountaintop we all go to the top of and throw batteries and sing a joyous tune and free ourselves from suffering.

What I’m trying to say here folks… is this is enlightenment.

Blonde at Carytown Kroger – m4w 7/13

I was at the Carytown Kroger on Sunday. I was wearing blue shorts with an orange tshirt and a teal hat. You were wearing a gray/silver tshirt, jeans and had blonde shoulder length curly hair and we’re listening to your iphone. I could be wrong but I thought you were giving me the eyes like you were checking me out. As I was leaving the store I felt I should have said something to you or asked for your number but I didn’t for some stupid reason. If you see this, let me know. I’d love to have he chance to talk to you and take you out for a coffee!

Cat & Mouse, 3 Highways – w4m – 22 (Richmond, Va) 7/11

Brownish purplish jeep. Windows down.

I had my sunroof open in my Scion tC.

Were you trying to race me? I couldn’t really see you, but you looked cute. I almost followed you all the way home, but I missed your exit.

I think you owe me a drink since I won…

If you can keep up.

Tell me one or all of the following things:
What color is my car?
What do my plates say?
Where did you exit?

Let’s do that again sometime.

Farm Fresh – Wednesday 7/9/14 – m4w (Richmond) 7/11

We looked at each other and smiled when I was on the self-checkout line around 4 PM or a little later. I am older than you, but that wouldn’t matter to me. You were lovely. Would love to chat with you. If you see this, please holla at me.

A local hotdog joint – m4w (RVA) 7/9

I’m a man of many sorrows…the most recent being not hearing your voice call my name. It was a hot Monday afternoon and I asked the seemingly nice waitress to relay my message to you in a non confrontational, yet grand manner, “you are the most beautiful person I have ever seen in my life”. I watched the waitress as she delivered my number to you, so I wouldn’t intrude upon your time with your friends. Your expression was surprised and delighted. Seconds and minutes tick by with no contact from you and I understand, you can’t read my writing! So I wait a bit longer…and finally, I can’t breathe another breath, I called the restaurant and asked for you. The jealous waitress told me you had a boyfriend. I don’t believe her. It’s been days and still, I know we were meant to be. If you see this, please be so kind as to make this poor soul’s day and say hello Arty.

Hot Fan Starbucks Barista – m4m – 27 (Robinson St) 7/8

You are a hot barista/cashier in the aforementioned Starbucks. Your name starts with “J” and you have gauges. I feel like we’ve made eye contact a few times when I come in there. I would love to get to know you “better” if you’re interested.

Urban Farmhouse Bear – m4m (downtown) 7/8

Lions meh. Tigers meh. BEARS oh hell yeah! You were the handsome, hipster bespectacled bear working behind the counter making food at Urban Farmhouse today. I could not keep my eyes off of you as you cheerily called out names and placed orders on the counter. When you called out my name, Scott, handed me my caesar salad and smiled, I felt the blood rush to the crotch of my crisp white chinos. Not totally sure if you swing my way but if you do, please reply …I’d love to toss your salad next time 😉

Jogging dude found sleeping dude – m4m (Fan) 7/8

I stupidly thought I would lay back on my front steps and close my eyes; totally fell asleep. Woke to a vision of a white jogger in gray shorts waking me up to make sure I was okay. I’m praying to the gods that I might encounter this kind shirtless man in gray shorts again soon. What a treasure.

Kroger – m4w (Willow Lawn) 7/7

I was just in the Kroger at Willow Lawn around 9:30, zoned out looking at the salsa, when you very slowly made your way behind me. I didn’t really notice you until I picked out what I wanted and walked down the aisle by you. I realized after walking by you that you probably wanted me to say something when you were behind me, and in the spur of the moment couldn’t think of a good way to just go back and say “Hi.” Probably all I should have done, haha. You probably just came from Gold’s. I was also in workout gear, but wasn’t coming from Gold’s. Shot in the dark and I never would have thought I’d post on here, but you were pretty damn attractive, so what the hell. If you’d like to get a drink or dinner sometime, shoot me a message with what I was wearing.

Help! I met the girl of my dreams today and all I can do now is write this shitty miss connection post. My friends and I were playing soccer when I saw you and asked you to play. You said no, but damn you looked good. Crush intensified and you earned bonus points for going to yoga . Hit me up, I would love to buy you a nice steak dinner and never call you back.

There’s a Murder Coming to Richmond, and You’re Stuck on the Train

The Felon Who Built Scott’s Addition
