Richmond gets this— more than any other city in Virginia. So here’s Weekend Frequency—a weekly, reader-curated playlist built for the city, by the city.

“I wanted to capture the coming of age feeling of your late teenage/early 20’s years. This playlist is a mix of local and out of town acts. It’s the music I would put on the first time I drove with a friend, fresh eyed and freshly licensed, facing an evening horizon. The world explodes into something bigger than I could imagine, so I turn up the volume.“
