Best of RVA Missed Connections 2/20/18-2/27/18

by | Feb 27, 2018 | RICHMOND NEWS, WTF?!

As we wrap up the month of February, it’s still a little brisk out, but the folks over in Missed Connections are keeping it hot and heavy as ever. Apartments are getting ready to be signed for the next year, and leasing agents are getting some action, its love at first sight at a Taco Bell drive-thru, and a Peter Chang’s waiter with a cactus tattoo and a hopeful customer reunite. All that and more below.

Jessica, Dinwiddie Taco Bell – m4w

I saw you tonight through the drive-thru window. I found you to be absolutely breathtaking. If you’re open to the idea of a relationship with an older man, please respond and let’s see what we have in common.

Woman that Brought Up Sex at Wegman’s Dining Area – m4w (Broad St)

We were sitting at adjoining tables and chatted a little bit. You brought up sex, then seemed embarrassed and left. I wasn’t expecting that to come up, and you got embarrassed and left before I could respond. You called me an attractive older man. You were great looking. I really missed a good connection, maybe.

The uncut younger guy showering at the Y on franklin tuesday at noon – m4m (ymca)

You had a sleeve tattoo on your arm. You went into the shower and both saunas. Our lockers were side by side. If you ever see this let me take care of that beautiful tool. I had a beard.

Handsome Bearded Leasing Agent at Copper Spring – m4m (West End)

You gave me a tour of the apartment community yesterday at 10 am. You truly love the community and are fantastic at what you do. I was intrigued by your knowledge of the area and was really hoping that you would be interested in getting to know me a bit more. You are very handsome– love the beard and wit. Please reach out if you are at all interested. Not sure if we are on the same team or not.

You were the one, N – m4w (Richmond)

I love you so much. You were the first person who said they wanted a kid where I, instead of freaking out, I immediately thought “with her, yes.” I really thought we had a future together. You made me feel wanted and alive. I loved your laugh and how excited you’d get when you talked about traveling together. I miss your wit. I never felt this sure that another person was right for me. I can’t believe you’re never going to speak to me again. This is the worst pain I’ve ever felt.

Wendy’s drive thru – m4w (Hull st)

Came thru your drivethru tonight around 830 and was captivated by your stare. I could feel that you wanted to fuck me just as bad as I did you. You were blonde, tall and probably 30-35ish. Maybe some tattoos? I’m 30 brown hair and a beard. In the very rare chance that you read this, and aren’t laughing your ass off by now, respond and let’s see what happens.

Server at Peter Chang’s (the Hof) – m4w

I was in for dinner last night and you were not my server. We made eye contact a few times. You are stunning with hair tied back into a bun and a cactus tattoo on your arm. I had on a red hat and jean jacket. Never do this but figure what can it hurt?

The Light That Never Went Out

There is a spotlight still mounted in the rafters of 528 N. 2nd Street. It has been there since 1914. It has outlasted segregation, fire, the highway that cut Jackson Ward in two, and decades of silence. On the nights when the Hippodrome Theater fills up, that light...

Fourth of July 2026 in Richmond: Fireworks, Festivals, and More
