Best of RVA Missed Connections 12/19/17/-12/127/17

by | Dec 27, 2017 | RICHMOND NEWS, WTF?!

The holidays are a time for us to come together with our loved ones…or lurk on Craigslist in search of your latest fling or rendezvous. The people of Missed Connections are serving up the romance and wonderfully weird yet again this week from a flirtation over tomatoes at Ellwood Thompson’s, to a man looking to reignite a threesome, sparks fly at a tacky sweater party, & someone is on the hunt for “snoopy snoopy snowflake balls water curtain” from Sugar Shack Donuts.

Reconnecting threesome – m4mw (Chester)

We had hooked up in the fall. You guys were a younger couple and a lot of fun! Would love to reconnect and see if we can get together again! Let me know what kind of car you drive or some other detail! Thanks

“snoopy snoopy snowflake balls water curtain” (richmond)

Last year around this time, a customer participating in the freebee at Sugar Shack donuts wrote what they wanted for Christmas on a piece of paper and it read “snoopy snoopy snowflake balls water curtain”. I have thought about these things, this combination of words throughout all of 2017 and more deeply now, during this holiday season wonder what it could mean. Please, if you wrote these things, let me know the meaning and if you got the 2 snoopys or the water that you desired so.

Tacky sweater contest – elevator – m4w (Downtown)

You were so damn cute with that tacky outfit. We were in the elevator with your coworker who was very nice. You both were very helpful and made my day. It is surprising how many people just assume you should know exactly what to do. Anyway, antlers, tacky everything and I can not seem to get your face out of my head. Just thought I would let ya know. Thanks for making my day. 🙂  Oh – and the maze back to your office was worth seeing ya one last time.

Had lunch at SUPPER. – m4w (Supper on Summit Ave.)

I was eating lunch today with a buddy of mine..He was an older bald guy with a beard…
I was the younger guy with a red beard, black sweatshirt, hiking boots, and a green beanie.. We were sitting outside at the community table. You and I made eye contact several times. You were the thin, beautiful eyed girl who had her hair up. It seemed like there was some chemistry there..I wanted to introduce myself, but not while you were working.. Not sure if you had the same feeling I did or not, but if so…let’s go out and get drinks and dinner!

I was an idiot. – m4w

I was an idiot ending our relationship the way that I did. You didn’t deserve what I told you. I told you I cheated on you, but the fact of the matter is that I didn’t. I just wanted out of our LDR. But now I regret it. It’s been almost 4 years now, and not a day goes by where I don’t think about you, or how I ended it. You deserve the truth. I hope you read this and say hi to your brother for me. I hope VCU treated you well, and good luck with your future.

Endless blue eyes, the most handsome man I’ve ever laid eyes on, hands like an ocean. Your smile stopped my heart. Tall, strong, thoughtful, curious, hilarious, intelligent, capable. You smelled like heaven even when you had to take showers with dish soap. The connection wasn’t missed at the time. It was real and it was powerful, and it’s so missed now. I know you felt it and I know that’s what scared you. I get it. If I never see you again, just know this: I fell for you because you’re perfect. Well, no one’s perfect, but you’re perfect for me. I’d watch the Rangers win the Stanley Cup a zillion times over if it made you happy… and I wouldn’t even be mad about it.

Hey we met up a while back, when I didn’t have my furniture in my house. I’d really like to meet up again! Hopefully you see this.

 Lateshia! – m4w

Those long days waiting and the short nights. They were so much fun and brought us both so much joy. Summer nights are so boring without you and the cold winter nights are not nearly as warm as they used to be. I miss you
