Best of Missed Connections: July 17 – July 24

by | Jul 24, 2018 | RICHMOND NEWS, WTF?!

Be careful out there singles of Richmond, we hear it’s a rough time to find a soulmate, and the writers of Missed Connections are here to tell us just how tough it is. Wear flannels, glasses, and have a beard? (AKA every dude in Richmond?) Well, you’ve got a couple on the hunt for you. This week also features a Richmonder lamenting about the one who got away, a little love at first sight at the Chesterfield Towne Center Chipotle, things get a little too heated at the gym, and some fine dog walkers in the Chester area.

Beautiful 7-11 employee (Richmond Airport/Williamsburg Rd)

I see you almost everytime I come in there. We talked briefly about working night shift and that you go to school during the day. If you see this hit me up. Maybe next time i’m in there I will just ask you out. You have brown eyes and dark red hair.

Chipotle at Chesterfield Towne Center (Chipotle at Chesterfield Towne Center)

I don’t know if this will work but yesterday afternoon (Wed. July 18) I saw the most gorgeous girl at the Chipotle at Chesterfield Towne Center and I can’t stop thinking about meeting her. She has dark hair, was wearing a black shirt and jeans shorts, and was with a friend, a blonde girl with a white shirt with a flower print and jeans shorts. If anyone recognizes this person please pass the message along. I’m dying to introduce myself. Help me out folks. My name is Brian by the way.

Things I wish I would have said

I can’t believe that I let you slip away. I wish I wish I wasn’t so dumb. You were probably one of the best things that happened to me, but I couldn’t look past everything you’re going through. I wish I would have told you that I would’ve rather have been with you and all of your issues than to be with anyone else. I love you and I know that you’re probably never ever going to talk to me again because of the way I treated you …….. and yes, I would’ve had your pretty brown eyed babies.

Tat zaddy haulin ass down midlo (Midlothian Turnpike)

You: bearded, glasses, dark hair, a flannel. Driving a small manual truck.

Us: checking you out but pretending not to.

We locked eyes, what’s up? Tell us what we were driving so we know it’s you.

Workout Buddy/Gorgeous Smile (Chester)

Sometimes I can be a little shy. You sent me a pic of you and I was initiated by how pretty you are. Yes my self esteem is low right now, but I must get myself together. I just wanted to get this off my chest

Lady walking dog on Thornhill 7/18 (Chester – Enon)

You were walking your dog today and we said good morning to each other and you gave me such a pretty smile. I wanted so badly to tell you how gorgeous you are but was afraid you’d feel like I was a stalker or something…lol…..it is hard to just pay some a compliment these days. If you see this, I’d love to talk to you, really talk this time but do not want to be pushy or offensive. Regardless, your smile will stay with me all day!
