Best of RVA Missed Connections 1/30/2018-2/6/2018

by | Feb 6, 2018 | RICHMOND NEWS, WTF?!

There’s always something fun and wildly weird in RVA’s Missed Connections. In this week’s batch, we’ve got a Lamplighter stalker, a woman lusting after her exterminator, an encounter at Godfrey’s, and an exotic baby doll cleaning service. Yes, you read that right, but it’s probably not what you think…or maybe it is. All that and more, below.

Lamplighter Addison st 2/4 – w4m

Today around 1pm I saw you doing work on your laptop in the inside part of Lamplighter in a corner table. You were wearing a plaid shirt and black pants. You have longer black hair (and I think facial hair). I have seen you there once before and have always thought you were a babe. Today I thought I may have caught a look from you. ~lets be friends~

What To Do With All This Money? – m4w

I went my entire life without women paying attention to me. I’m not physically attractive but I’m in great shape and care about my appearance and I’ve tried to be as kind as I can to everyone I meet. Not because I expect anything in return but because it’s the right thing to do. I’m also cognitive of boundaries and what constitutes as creepy. I know my place because of my appearance. I’ve tried dating sites, dating apps, local singles groups and I’ve had no success meeting someone.

I’ve had very little sex throughout my life until the age of 42. The need for human touch and companionship at times was maddening. But then something changed for me. I came into an extremely large amount of money. More money I could spend in a lifetime. Without even trying, women started paying attention to me. Beautiful and intelligent women. I knew from the first date with the first female why. I knew it wasn’t me they were interested in.

For a while it messed with my head. I found it hard to perform sexually. Knowing women are more interested in my money than me is almost worse than when I didn’t have this money. But the key word is almost. I’m 47 now. I still haven’t had a serious relationship since coming into money but I’ve learned to use it to be selfish for my own needs. This may come off like some rich woman hating asshole but I’m not. I’m just being honest. I still know my place in the world but this time, I have an advantage. I have money.

Anyone who says money doesn’t matter, obviously doesn’t have lots of money because it does. It truly matters. So does looks.I’m going to continue to pretend like I don’t see through what these women want and I’m going to continue to enjoy their bodies and then throw them away for the next rich guy to use. I’m in a place now where I’m actually greatful to be unnactrictive. If I was attractive, my ego may tell me these women actually do want me for more than just my money and I’d probably be taken advantage of.

You inspected my house for termites Friday 2/2 – m4m (northside city)

I’m hoping that Michael, who works for a termite company, sees this posting. You inspected my house yesterday, and I think we may have been mutually attracted to each other, but neither of us said anything about it. When you asked after you were finished, “Is there anything else I can do for you?”, I almost said “Cum on in again and let’s have some fun together,” but I didn’t. If you’re reading this, please get back to me, and I’ll follow through this time. Tell me what company you work for so I will know that it’s you.

Incredibly sexy MILF Wawa on staples – m4w (Wawa coffee station)

We spoke at the coffee station, you made mention of drinking coffee before your wine. Truth is, I didn’t event want coffee, just the opportunity to strike up a conversation with you, so I got coffee. You were incredibly sexy with a really cute hat on and that alluring smile… In line ahead of me you pointed out the other line was open and offered the spot to me. I replied that the scenery was better where I was, and you blushed a little, but I would really like the opportunity to make you turn red while your toes curl up. I doubt you’ll see this but if you do shoot me a message.

I thought you were a unicorn – m4w

I told you time & time again that if you didn’t want it, I didn’t want it. All you had to do was tell me. Ghosting wasn’t right…not at the point we were at. Coming out of that ghost town of yours for 5 minutes to make me think there was still a chance…well, that was downright cruel. I thought you were a unicorn. I couldn’t have been more wrong.

Duron Chavis is Building More Than a Farm

How two decades of community organizing grew into a vision for land ownership, education, and self-determination. The first time I met Duron Chavis, he wasn't talking about farmland. He was talking about culture. It was the early 2000s, and Happily Natural Day was...

The Light That Never Went Out

There is a spotlight still mounted in the rafters of 528 N. 2nd Street. It has been there since 1914. It has outlasted segregation, fire, the highway that cut Jackson Ward in two, and decades of silence. On the nights when the Hippodrome Theater fills up, that light...

Fourth of July 2026 in Richmond: Fireworks, Festivals, and More

The best Fourth of July celebration in Richmond probably isn't the one with the biggest fireworks. It's the one where someone forgot the hot dog buns, the cooler is running low on ice, kids are chasing each other through sprinklers, and somebody insists they know a...
