Best of RVA Missed Connections 3/27/18-4/3/18

by | Apr 3, 2018 | RICHMOND NEWS, WTF?!

This batch of Missed Connections may be brief, but its spicy as ever as sparks fly between a man with a broken leg and a vet in a cowboy hat, a man admires a woman from afar at an Easter Vigil at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, a handsome Firebird’s waiter is generous with his prime rib, and one poor soul longs for their former flame from Buffalo Wild Wings. All that and more below.

hottest vet ever (henrico)

You helped keep me calm with a broken leg, thanks for the help. Just your beautiful face took away all pain and fear. I know I don’t have much of a chance but you in your cowboy hat was a lifesaver from the pain, would love to take you out sometime, just to thank you and possibly see you again,,, the shaggy looking redneck with a busted leg

Saturday Night Easter Vigil at Cathedral (Richmond, VA)

I was sitting two rows behind you at Saturday’s Easter Vigil Mass at Cathedral. We were sitting in the back of the church. You were wearing a black blazer type jacket, tight black pants, and high heeled black shoes. You have long dark hair. I wanted to stay and talk with you after Mass but you were with two other girls and I was working and had to go. If you read this and would like to get together, tell me what you did to help me out during the beginning of Mass.

You cut my hair yesterday. (Westchester)

You cut my hair and I’m really into you but not sure what you situation is. You’ve been cutting it for a while now and giving me advice on Netflix shows and music. If you see this let me know the songs you told me to listen to yesterday.

9 years…. From Bdubs to St. Augustine…. – w4m

This is a long shot as I know we have both moved on and I am the one who ended things…but I just wanted to let you know I miss you. I miss my best friend. I am happy you have moved on and found happiness and I hope she is everything you deserve and that you do not repeat past mistakes…. I wish we could have a friendship more than anything because I REALLY need you now more than ever, but I know that isn’t possible…. but I just had to put it out here that I miss you…. I would love to hear from you and just to catch up and talk…. but I know that’s probably not going to happen…. If you do happen to respond to this, let me know you are legit by letting me know where we would have gone on our 10 year anniversary.

Manager or shift leader Chick-fil-A (Broad st)

You were outside helping the employees in the drive through lanes. Blond hair in a pony tail looking as cute as can be, I was in a silver SUV. You kept looking at me and would turn away each time you caught me looking. It was around 12:15 in the afternoon, I’d love to talk to ya. If this is you, send a picture in first email.

There’s a Murder Coming to Richmond, and You’re Stuck on the Train

Virginia Repertory Theatre is kicking off its new season the way any sensible theatre should: with a train, a murder, and a detective who’s just trying to make sense of it all. Murder on the Orient Express is Agatha Christie’s great reminder that people are both awful...

The Felon Who Built Scott’s Addition

Before the beer taps and condos, before the buzzwords about ‘revitalization,’ Scott’s Addition’s future passed through the hands of a single man: Justin Glynn French. A convicted felon whose empire collapsed in scandal, he set the stage, even if unintentionally, for...
