Best of VA Missed Connections June 26 – July 2

by | Jul 2, 2019 | RICHMOND NEWS, WTF?!

It’s another week of Missed Connections from around the state, and this time around it brings us a lesson: sometimes it’s best to come straight out and tell people who you are and what you want. Like if you’re a soccer mom who wants to buy some weed for those long late mornings when the kids are out of the house. Or if you work in a warehouse and just want to serenade that cute co-worker. And of course if you’re having cute shy encounters with ladies at the OTB. Our message to you: go get em, tiger!

We’ve also got some fun ones from people who may or may not have been in Richmond punk bands 25 years ago (Social Violence, is that you?), and photographers looking for their subjects. We’ve got optimists at Domino’s and pessimists at Starbucks. And of course we’ve got your Friday Cheers Missed Connections as always. No Wawa this week, though — their streak is finally broken.

Get those snacks, Virginia.

Soccer Mom wants to meet you at 4:20

Yes. I really am a soccer mom and I want to buy weed.

You liked Punk Rock (Henrico)

Love your dream locations and the fact you like mythical creatures… that are real of course 🙂

Hope our paths cross again someday …

Only girl ever to have a orange mohawk 20 years ago

Tina. It’s C. R.

You cycled into my photograph (Fan)

You stopped and talked with me about what I was photographing. You had red sneakers, dark pants and a sleeveless light green shirt or light jacket (I know because you’re in my photo). I wish we could talk some more…

a co worker (fredericksburg)

hey there, we work together in a warehouse setting. you have a beautiful smile. I sang a song and you said it got stuck in your head. Tell me what the song was and we can chat some more.

Lady at Rosie’s (Richmond)

You were the lady in all black, standing in front of the members benefits line about 230 pm. You smiled at me and made eye contact. I smiled back but looked at the floor, embarrassed.

I should’ve stopped and talked to you. Email me if you get this.

Home Team Grill (Nuckols and Twin Hickory)

Younger male here, just sending cheers to all the lovely people and drinking crowds, let’s keep this neighborhood bar jumping!

Who’s going today?

Wednesday at The Grill (Patterson Ave)

You were working, clearing tables, running food. Blondish hair, jean shorts. Thought you were very attractive and hated to leave. Would love to chat if you are single and interested.

Optimistic lady at Dominos (Newport News)

I’ve seen you twice now and each time you’ve made me smile.

Would you like to meet officially? I’m not even sure you’ll see this message, but I’m hoping you do 🙂

Starbucks lynnhaven (Va beach)

You were in a blue Mazda riding passenger with a friend, you had curly hair and kept looking back at me in my truck. You looked really cute what color was my truck and where was I parked. You’ll probably never see this.

You came to my brother’s work

He said you were asking if I was okay and that we used to be together. How’d you know who my brother is anyways? If by some chance you read these, tell me how else he could describe you so i know it’s you

Women with Orange shirt and overalls dress? (Friday cheers)

I just saw you an hour ago at Friday Cheers. I don’t even know why, but I want to talk to you. Not in a weird way.

You : 40 something. You have a nose ring, boots and a had your hair up with a stick.

HMU if you like conversation.

Great swimmer (VB)

girl you had some moves in the pool! describe what I was wearing and doing. I should’ve asked for a few lessons..

Walmart Delivery (Fredericksburg)

I delivered your groceries today but thought it might be inappropriate to ask if you were single and wanted to hang out. If you see this and you’re interested, let me know. If you see this and your not interested, pretend you didn’t see this so it won’t be weird if I deliver for you again. I know I’m not as fit as you are but I am working on it. You are very beautiful and of course your apt smelled amazing again!!!

Buford Road Pharmacy (Bon Air)

I’ve posted here before but I’m trying again. You work at Buford Road Pharmacy. You have dark brown/reddish hair, curly hair, usually in a ponytail, and really pretty blue eyes. I haven’t seen you in about two months. I keep looking for you. I can’t get you out of my head. I will keep trying.

At the TR concert you said my camera… (Richmond)

What a great show! You and your friend thought the guy with the cameras could get you back stage. When I told you I could not, you said the cameras made me look sexy… :). I took a couple pics of you and your friend, gave you each a card… the pics are available! Sorry I could not get you in to see the big guy, but you both made my night!

Wine Tasting (Charlottesville)

Liked our meeting at the winery. You were with a group of friends and wanted your picture taken. You held your group up because you had to apply some lipstick before the picture. I found that so sexy. You said you were from a Richmond and I mentioned my home town and you knew where it was in Maryland. I know you probably won’t read this but if you do write me back your smile inferred the attraction was mutual.

My Lady

Looking for that woman I know from school we graduated in the late 80’s. Zip 23111 Name starts with any letter. We watched Calabash Seafood being built. Contact me to talk about old times.

Grace of MCV ER-ADMISSIONS (’97-’99) (MCV HOSPITAL)

One sharp-witted, black female who worked the evening shifts as my data source for incoming ambulances cases to the Trauma-Medicine units at VCU Hospital. She was “..a true friend to the end.”

Science museum girl (Richmond)

So I was being bashful but considering the company I was with, I had no choice; you were also there with young kids and we kept running into each other. Really wish I could have stopped and talked because you are so beautiful! Just wanted you to know I was falling over myself looking at you! Hope I run into you again someday

You were my hair stylist (White oak)

You cut my hair this evening. We talked about all kinds of things from cars to jobs and other things. Should of got your number but maybe you’ll see this. If you can remember what I drove let me know so I know it’s you

Kroger Quioccasan (Henrico)

You were the sexy blonde woman walking down the chips/coffee isle this morning around noon, we locked eyes twice and smiled and I was instantly attracted to you. Let me know what I was wearing if this was you.
